To follow up on my previous Spotify post, NME reported yesterday that Apple may announce plans to launch an online music streaming service similar to Spotify on June 7 at the San Francisco Apple World Wide Developers Conference.

Non-music related: The AP reported that in a recent service Pope Benedict called same-sex marriage one of the most "insidious and dangerous" threats facing the world today.

I live in NYC and our city is now living in daily fear of car bombs (another suspicious one was found just last night in Union Square) and similar acts of terrorism. That is what I define as "insidiuos and dangerous".  I just can't believe that anyone in their right mind still truly finds gay marriage - LOVE between two people - comparable to such blatant acts of evil.

Back to some good news - CNN.com reported that Bret Michaels is recovering at such a pace that he actually hopes to return to the stage by the end of the month!  Way to go Bret, we're supporting you!

-For those of you who don't know, Bret suffered a brain hemorrhage on April 23.

"Peace between countries must rest on the solid foundation of love between individuals."  - Mahatma Gandhi

"Imagine there's no countries, it isnt hard to do, nothing to kill or die for, no religion too, imagine all the people living life in peace... You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, I hope some day you'll join us, and the world will live as one." - John Lennon
